Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Egypt: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Egypt showed varied performance across the top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's a look at the trends for the leading apps.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 108K in mid-July and late July. Despite fluctuations, downloads remained above 88K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users saw a rise, reaching approximately 5M by early September, although there was a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride demonstrated steady weekly downloads, generally ranging from 56K to 66K, with peaks in late July and early September. Active users showed growth, peaking at over 4.4M in early September, despite a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 58K, with a peak of 63K in mid-July. Active users saw a modest increase, surpassing 3.6M in late July before stabilizing around 3.4M by the quarter's end.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash saw a gradual increase in downloads, reaching a peak of 26K in early September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 360K and ending at nearly 370K by late September.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver downloads remained steady, fluctuating slightly around 11K to 12.5K. Active users increased from 236K at the beginning of the quarter to over 250K in early September, before declining slightly towards the end.
